Abu Tig Marina is a unique and exciting project on the Red Sea coast of Egypt. The marina town was designed by the Italian architect Alfredo Freda and the basin by Sogreah Ingenerie, France.
Abu Tig Marina town is just part of the world class touristic resort - El Gouna, which in itself is now a well established resort development complete with its own infrastructure including; power stations, water treatment plants, many international hotel chains, golf course, airport, hospital, school, shops, etc.
The marina town contains two 4 star hotels, three smaller hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and the marina basin (yacht harbour) and was the first of its kind in the Red Sea.
Both Abu Tig Marina and El Gouna are owned and operated by Orascom Hotels & Development (OHD). As one of the largest developers in the region OHD has several other ambitious projects in Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
The marina offers a wide range of amenities comparable to the best marina resorts in the world and offers a gateway to one of the planets most fascinating marine locations - the Red Sea.
